Essam Refai is an Award Winner Technology, User Experience, and Audio Visual Consultant with experience in Smart Buildings, User Experience Technologies, Audio Visual Solutions, Digital Engineering, and Digital Transformation. He is also a Certified Technology Specialist for both Design and Installation (CTS-D & CTS-I) from the AVIXA (Audio Visual Integrated Experience Association) organization (formally known as Infocomm) among less than 600 certified professionals worldwide.

Throughout his career; Essam worked with multiple clients across Australia, Asia, and the Middle East delivering a variety of smart and collaborative buildings across different sectors including and not limited to commercial, entertainment, educational, and government following his passion for technology and delivering an exceptional Integrated User Experience to the end-users.

Currently Essam is leading the Audio Visual and UX Technologies team at Aurecon Consultants servicing and delivering with excellence to Clients all over the world through Aurecon’s different offices across all the market verticals.

In 2018, Essam was awarded the Oceania Young AV Professional of the Year award from AVIXA in recognition of his achieving and successful career.

In 2019, Essam was recognized on the InAVate magazine 40 Under 40 list as one of the best and the brightest in the APAC AV industry.
